WEEE recycling

There certainly needs to be a 2 handed approach to this idea. Simply developing a recycling solution in developing countries will not prevent the disgusting and criminal export and processing of e-waste, contaminating land, killing, maiming and ultimately resulting in the desolation of land. A secondray approach, prohibiting the movement of e-waste off-shore and fining of those who breach such laws would go some way to ensuring that only fit-for-purpose equipment leaves continental US. Alternative, enforce PAS 141, in conjunction with e-waste stewardship.

There does need to be a solution to how companies handle the e-waste and who is responsible for it. There has to be some accountability for things to change.
